About Me
August 8th, 2007 by georgia leigh

Thanks for visiting Puking Pastilles! My name is Georgia and I have five children and a totally fab husband named Dave. I homeschool my oldest two, sew like a mad woman, am absolutely OBSESSED with Muse, cook only when the Pioneer Woman posts a yummy recipe, and clean only when the grime becomes self-aware and starts attacking the children.

We live in Utah and yes, I am Mormon. Technically called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but that’s a pretty big mouthful:)

I hope you enjoy your time here and please leave a comment! I love to hear from you even if I don’t always respond. Remember–I might be battling an uprising of toilet crusties. (eww. I just grossed myself out)

If you have made any projects with my patterns or tutorials, check out our new Puking Pastilles Flickr Pool! We will be randomly picking winners each month to win fabric, patterns, and more. Don’t miss out!

Thanks for the superhero cape tutorial. My kids – all 6 – are very excited. I don’t pull out my hair, but I do need daily doses of chocolate and coffee to keep me going. Love your creativity!!!!

Hello I always envey women who can sew. I cannot sew but bought a sewing machine and I stare at it and start dreaming of all the wonderful made up stuff in my head. My 8 yr. old daughter wants a super hero party and I was thinking ( again in my head) what a great ideal to make all the kids their own cape w/ their itnital on the back. I see your super hero cape and it looks easy ( again LOOKS is the key word) but again I cant use a sewing machine the party isnt till December so I have time to figure it out. Again envey women who can sew….. Vikki

Love your tutorials! I came across the snack/sandwich bag tutorial when I was hunting and pecking for one to try. I am going to sew it now and I shall find your flicker archive so I can post a picture!
