Has it really been a week since Halloween? I’m totally a shoe-in for the “Untimely Blogger Award.”
As promised, a photo of the kids in their costumes.

It was a long night.
I can explain the Route 44 Sonic drink Joseph is nursing (because he really needed the extra sugar that day). They had 50 cent corn dogs on Halloween–you really can’t pass up an opportunity like that. Besides, I heart Sonic. Utah was not whole until they opened one here. In fact, I can tell you exactly where the last Sonic used to be on the route from Dallas to Provo. Cherry Limeades. Yummm.
Also, I haven’t posted a photo of the not-so-little one in a while, so here goes. I have been adamant about not allowing any of the kids suck their thumbs. We have always nipped it in the bud. So far, our resolve has always been greater than the infant in question. I have, however, met my match.

He is determined. And he is not happy when he does not have access to his hands. Not happy baby=Not happy Mommy=Bad News. I also have a hard time pulling his thumb out because he looks so cute doing it, but then I remember that I REALLY don’t want to be strapping rulers to his arms with ace bandages when he’s eight. Tragic.
I took some photos of a lovely friend of mine for my newest pattern today (coming very soon–follow me on Twitter and you’ll be the first to know). How about a sneak peek?
