I used your cape pattern to make capes for my boys. I put a link to your tutorial on my blog. I hope you don’t mind. It is a great pattern. Wish I were a better sewer.

Could you please, email directly to me the applique patterns for supperman, batman, & princess in a NON-pdf format? I would greatly apprecite it if you could.

The applique patterns will only print out correctly as a PDF. As a jpeg, the printer will sometimesdo some crazy things to them:) Acrobat Reader is super-easy to install, if that’s the problem. I’ll email you with the link.

If I want to do the Super Why Applique pattern how would I cut those out for the felt? Do I do the Yellow as one, the blue as the other and the white as the third?
    Thanks

Yes, and I would suggest using fabric instead of felt since it is a triple layer applique. You would first iron on the book, then the white “pages” and lastly the yellow nuclear symbol. You can stitch in between layers, or at the end.

Good morning – I’m so excited to make these capes for all the littles in my life . . . I noticed that someone had asked if you’d create a Spiderman applique – is there any chance that that’s in the works? My nephew (okay, really my BIL) is a huge Spiderman/Batman fan and I’d love to make him a cape with both logos. (And although I’m crafty, I am in no way creative!)

You know, I never have made a Spiderman applique but there’s no time like the present, right? I have a couple others I need to do anyway so I’ll see if I can get something put together tonight. I’ll email you when it’s done!

    Hi,
My husband and I are both in our 60′s and we are taking the grand kids to a 4 night camp with the theme being super heroes. Without telling the kids I would like to make both of us a t-shirt with a super hero on it. My husband wants Captain America. Would you happen to have such an pattern? I have 3 weeks to find one and get the shirts completed. Great site and thanks for sharing your patterns!
