We are excited to finally have our new Learn to Sew 101 Series up on YouTube! They are all FREE. There are eleven videos in the series so far and they walk you through making a pair of pull-on pants. I use my Ankle Biters pattern throughout the series. Mr. Puking Pastilles has done a butt-load of work on these. I, for one, am tired of hearing my voice but he has been relentless in getting these ready for you!

Not so much when I’m by myself. That’s more of a three-ring circus. The whole family, however, is a sight. For family night we stocked up on shelf-stable foods for the holidays. It feels nice to finally have some food storage down stairs again. No melt-downs or injuries = a successful grocery store trip. Definitely helped to have another adult:)

P.S. The reason they are plugging their noses is because the parking lot is undergoing construction and they were protecting themselves from the “pollution-making machines.” rofl.

We have videos in the shop now. Very cool. We’ll be debuting a free one on YouTube soon.

Joseph needs a new bed. Seth needs a lobotomy his own personal maid. Juliet needs to not know how cute she is. Catherine could use a swift kick in the butt a hair cut. And Eli? He’s good. He could probably use a bath, but I haven’t disinfected the tub since Joseph’s foot encountered one of Bella’s special “presents” in the backyard.

I think that is my all-time favorite Calvin and Hobbes strip. Calvin is sitting at this table in the front yard, selling “A Swift Kick in the Butt.” Hobbes walks up and asks him how business is. Calvin replies, “Awful. I just don’t get it – I know so many people who need one!”

Or something to that effect. Hilarious. I can really relate to Calvin sometimes.
