My space bar bit the dust, so words will be short.

Happy New Year!

Making our Fortune
Dec 28th, 2008 by Jorja

My husband has decided that someday he is going to write a book called, “Things My Wife Wanted to Say, But Didn’t.” In the heat of the moment I tend to stay quiet even though I’ve got some really fantastic things I could say. Well, maybe not fantastic but it sure would be funny. So then I come home and relay them to my husband and he always asks, “did you actually say that?” and of course, I didn’t.

So in response, I told him that someday I am going to write a book called, “Things My Husband Shouldn’t Have Said, But Did.” We will be rich.

School’s Out!
Dec 19th, 2008 by Jorja

Sheesh. I thought they’d NEVER get out of school! Today we made playdough from the Instructables website. It was supposed to be gifts for their friends, but no one wanted to part with it. I guess we can always make more!

Tomorrow is fudge! The easiest recipe in the universe:

**EDIT** I took out the vanilla because I think it made my fudge sieze up. It wasn’t in the recipe I usually follow, so just to be safe it’s gone now….:)
**another edit*** I hope no one made this recipe because I had forgotten I don’t use two whole packages of choc. chips, only a little more than one. heh.

1 1/3 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3.5 oz marshmallow creme (can use more for fluffier fudge)

Microwave first three ingredients, mixing often, until melted. Pour into two greased pie pans. Let cool.

I wasn’t kidding when I said it was easy. And it is quite delicious, too.
