Lamety Lame Lame
Oct 27th, 2008 by Jorja

I must be the lamest blogger ever. Seriously.

My birthday came and went. No blog post. None about Seth’s birthday and just a tidbit about Joseph’s. Sarah Palin spent $150,000 of campaign money on clothes and STILL NO POST! I’ve missed so many opportunities. Water under the bridge, right? I can’t do everything perfectly because then everyone would hate me.

New shoes my sister gave me for my birthday. From emandsprout on Etsy.

We have an extra cat around the house that we are trying to find a home for. We named her Alice:) Oh come on, you knew that one was coming. She’s small and very feisty. We found out today that the local no-kill shelter won’t even let us foster her because she’s all black. They don’t adopt out all black cats. So we might be taking her all the way to Salt Lake to adoption events. Blah. We can’t keep her because Bella (our very large puppy) stresses her out too much.

It freaks Juliet out, poor thing.

And I just love this photo:

Run Away
Oct 16th, 2008 by Jorja

You know that uber-annoying song from the 90′s called “Run Away” by the Real McCoy? I just found out that the song is about George Orwell’s 1984, one of my all-time favorite books. Who knew? Probably no one. But now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

And for all you New Kids on the Block fans out there, they have another new song called Single which I am loving. It has nothing to do with my lifetime dream of becoming a star in one of Joey McIntyre’s music videos. Or my childhood obsession with him. Nope. I’m not totally cool with fact that all their new videos have female actresses who aren’t old enough to remember NKOTB, but whatevah. Let them relive their rockstar pasts, I guess. It won’t last long as much as I’d love for it to. It is very Music and Lyrics-esque.
