creamcheese I totally stole this idea from my sister. This is a family recipe and she told me that she would be making a Halloween version this year. The kids totally loved making them orange, although there was a close call with the green food coloring while I was on the phone. No worries, I saved the batter before it was too late.cupcakes I’m not sure if this is normal or not, but our 2 year old is a total rock star wannabe. I turned the car on today and he started singing along with Muse. Muse is not the easiest band to sing along with, but the kid can rock. While we were at Sonic recently, we were sitting outside waiting for our food (hello Cherry Limeade) and found Joseph doing this:rockstahHe’s got the arm movements and facial expressions down and everything. While he was doing that, Seth was romancing the waitress. I never thought two boys could be so different.

Holiday Fun

I received my order of fabric in the mail today!  I got a gift certificate to Sew, Mama, Sew for my birthday.  Yippee!  I’ve already started Christmas gifts and this is for more. I just hope it all turns out the way I want it too, otherwise I’ll be buying a whole bunch of gifts last minute. Hee.  There’s some Amy Butler, Heather Ross, and Alexander Henry in there.  I’m very excited to cut into it.  If only I could have gotten an extra hour in each day as a birthday present…

Because I’m Random
Oct 25th, 2007 by Jorja

We painted our pumpkins this week. I’m not a big fan of carving because: a) I suck at it, b) it’s messy, and c) they rot faster. I don’t really like to do things that I suck at. Although, I did play the organ at church for a year even though I am sooo not an organist. I’m not even a pianist, really. I can play the piano, but I wouldn’t neccessarily say I’m a pianist. Because, apparently, I’m neurotic.

Oh, and Seth had to wear the girly smock because Catherine called dibs on the unisex one first. Such is life for poor Seth. Luckily he likes pink.

Juliet is finally big enough to use our walker. I wouldn’t really call it a walker, per se, because it doesn’t go anywhere. It has three legs, one of which is stationery, so it goes in circles. Poor Juliet doesn’t get a whole lot of chances to walk in it of her own volition, however:

I like that Joseph decided to catch a ride, too.
